Halloween Hits Educational DVDs (and GIVEAWAY!) #ncircle

I love turning any fun holiday or occasion into a learning opportunity for my kids.  We often attend an event or see something and try to make it a teachable moment.  This is part of the reason that I love DVDs from NCircle Entertainment so much.  You see, they are the folks that bring you educational entertainment.  I had the opportunity to watch 3 DVDs from them this last week that are Halloween or autumn themed, and I have to say that I really enjoyed them!  Even if your family doesn’t participate in Halloween, your child won’t feel strange watching these movies.  The holiday is not the focus, you see.  The learning is!

In  “Sid the Science Kid – Sid’s Spooky Halloween” (brand new this year!), your child will learn about bats, spiders, and skeletons!  My children thought the spider theme was especially interesting because we happen to be studying spiders in our homeschool science lessons right now.  It tied right in to what we were already studying and dug a little deeper, as well.  We LOVE science.
In  “WordWorld – A Kooky, Spooky Halloween”, your kids will learn valuable spelling and phonics lessons through the stories of Pig sleepwalking (and everyone thinks he is a ghost!) and Sheep with her special fairy costume.  My kids really liked this one, especially my 3 year old!  He can’t get enough WordWorld.
In   “The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That – Tricks and Treats”, learn about coconut crabs, bats, spider monkeys, and more!  This was my 5 year old’s favorite because he’s always into creepy animals and he also learned a lot, too.  This was probably my favorite of the DVDs as well.
These DVDs retail $6.99 each and can be purchased at NCircle Entertainment or at your favorite retailer!

Who would like to WIN your very own copy of ALL 3 DVDs?  Use the Rafflecopter form below and GOOD LUCK!  (US only, please.)  Ends October 17th.
