Summer is a busy time of year for most of us. Between travel, family fun and great food, it’s hard not to just walk around all summer with a smile on your face! When I was invited to a special lunch 2 weekends ago to sample some delicious summer menu items (and traditional favorites) at Joe’s Crab Shack, I knew I had to get back to this blog to report back to all of you. If there’s one thing I love to talk about, it’s FOOD!
With so many folks hitting the road this summer, I wanted to share with you a place to stop along the way. You may not know it, but Joe’s Crab Shack is in nearly every family tourist destination across the country – whether you’re near the beach or landlocked, there are tons of Joe’s Crab Shack locations to cruise into for some tasty food.
Pop in to taste their two new entrees served “Shack Style” with a kick of Corona:
· Corona Beach Bake: Lobster, clams, sausage, shrimp, fresh corn and potatoes steamed with a Corona chile-lime bath
· Costal Wave Steampot: Dungeness crab, snow crab, sausage and shrimp with corn and potatoes, finished with a Corona chile-lime bath
Other new dishes include the Southern Coastal Catch featuring grilled mahi-mahi, chile-lime shrimp and a made-from-scratch crab cake, and Southern Citrus Campechana, Joe’s version of the classic Mexican seafood cocktail with shrimp and crabmeat. While you’re there, try the new Tiki Cocktails like the Sailor’s Mai Tai, the Hawaiian Margarita and the Run Barrel Long Island Tea.
By the way, don’t forget dessert. You know I’m addicted to dessert, and their menu is full of options. Don’t just look at the regular menu, be sure to check out their drink and dessert menu on the table, as well as any seasonal flyers they have. Look at this tasty seasonal treat.
Summer on the Shore is only around until August 26th, so hurry in to give these flavors a try!
Connect with Joe’s Crab Shack on Facebook to stay up to date on their latest menu items and special promotions.
Thank you to Joe’s Crab Shack for hosting me and my friends for a delicious lunch. We loved trying all of the menu items, and my son was thrilled with the coconut shrimp leftovers I brought home for him. You guys really do need a support group for coconut shrimp addicts!

I’ve eaten at Joe’s Crab Shack in Kansas City, we love it. We don’t go often but it is a nice treat given we don’t get fresh seafood around here!
