This week, we did all sorts of fun things that I could have shared pictures of for Wordless Wednesday. However, I wanted to share this special picture with you.
Do you see this beautiful girl? Do you see The Bike?
That sweet girl is my daughter. This bike, and the helmet hanging off of its left handle bar, were purchased entirely by my princess. She has been saving up money for many months, through doing chores, saving from her birthday, asking for loose pocket change, and sharing a few knick knacks to the neighbors.
She decided to use about half of her money to buy this beauty. 🙂 She actually purchased a bike the day before, from Target, but the chain kept breaking off and we took it back. She was very adamant that we get a refund and try a new bike. Isn’t it amazing how their attitudes change about purchases when it’s bought with their own money? 🙂
I’m so proud of her!
