Guess Who’s Due in November?

If you guessed me, then you’re right. 😉

As of tomorrow, I’ll be 11 weeks pregnant with Baby #5.

It all began on February 22nd, when I had a hunch to take a test….

Okay, I took a bunch of tests…Who am I kidding?

Oh, and yes.  I did get a little carried away.  Those weren’t all of the tests…but…I didn’t want to look too crazy…

Then, I had my first midwife appointment a few weeks later.  I went for a dating ultrasound because we weren’t totally sure when I was due because of my weird cycle.  I thought I was almost 7 weeks, but it looks like I was actually 7w5d pregnant at the time.

I posted the ultrasound picture above, as well as the journal entry picture on my Facebook page on April Fool’s Day.  I never expected such a huge response, but there was a huge discussion thread going on, and lots of likes.  It seems that about half of the folks thought I was joking, and half thought I was serious.  I knew I had to follow it up!  The next day, I posted this:

I’m due in early November, although it would be kind of funny to have a Halloween baby since I have a Mother’s Day kid, a birthday kid, and an anniversary kid (as well as one conceived on New Year’s. TMI?)

So far I have had one birth center birth turned C-Section, 1 uncomplicated homebirth VBAC, 1 homebirth VBAC in which I transferred to the hospital AFTERWARD due to postpartum complications, and a planned hospital VBAC with an OB.  I’m planning on a hospital VBAC with a midwife this time.  I guess I just have to experience it ALL, right? 🙂

I hope you don’t mind hearing about pregnancy!  I kept up my pregnancy vlog last time, and I’m considering doing it again this time.

  1. Congrats on baby number five. It looks like you’ll have lots of little helpers around. I think it’s great that they are so close in age. Do the four you have play a lot with each other?
